The Idea
The Gallery of Sound is a one-of-a-kind crossover event pairing a live orchestral concert with original visual art created in response to the music. Art, music, and community fundraising come together in a single, accessible cultural experience — and we’re looking for local artists to be part of it.
Selected artists will create original pieces inspired by the evening’s program, performed live by the Toronto Community Orchestra’s 50+ musicians. Your work will be displayed alongside the performance, giving audiences a chance to experience the same music through both sound and image in the same room. Pieces will then be auctioned, with proceeds goin to Artbarn’s Art for Cancer Fund.

Calling All Local Artists
Calling all local visual artists! Partner with the Toronto Community Orchestra (TCO) and donate a painting for a one-of-a-kind crossover event for a good cause! Pick a piece from TCOs upcoming orchestral repertoire, let the music inspire your canvas, and watch your creation take center stage alongside a full symphony orchestra.
Your artwork will be featured in a silent online auction, with proceeds supporting the Art for Cancer Fund at Artbarn.
THE MUSIC

THE ART

Deliver to Artbarn by Oct 31
Finish your ready-to-hang piece and drop it off at Artbarn School in Toronto by October 31 so we can prepare it for the digital catalogue and stage display.
